We loved our stay at this hotel located in the heart of Old Prague. The location was perfect, situated just under the castle and on a principal tourist street. We enjoyed the convenience of having a small market shop across the road, making it easy to grab any necessities. The hotel was clean, quiet, and toasty warm, providing a comfortable atmosphere during our stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out late. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a restaurant downstairs offering cheap beer and dinner. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the tram made transportation around the city convenient.
Nothing to mention.

Location was excellent...half way up the hill towards the castle and about a 15 minute walk to Old Town across Charles Bridge. WiFi was free and parking was about a km away and cost only 25 Euro for two days. Breakfast was good.

It was located in a very very nice area short walk to principal tourist street, the center of all activities, night life, and the hill that leads to the castle,...

great location and very very big room, definitely suitable for 3 adults. Staff very friendly and English speaking. The prices are absolutely reasonable. There is the possibility to cook something in the room.
the street is rather noisy, however we have been lucky to have a room in the top floorn so the noise was not too bad.

All in all had such great experience for a short visit.
Stunning and brilliant location and authentic rooms - an unbeatable combination. Welcoming and pleasant employees, I loved that. Early check in. It was nice to have rooms with TV and views of the castle, for example. The food was great, they offered an incredible breakfast. Setting close enough to the hill, Prague, the castle.

I recently stayed at U Zlate Podkovy - At The Golden Horseshoe and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, with the ability to walk to all the main attractions in Prague. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a little kitchenette for added convenience. One highlight was the breakfast, which had a good variety and was reasonably priced.
I had a great time at U Zlate Podkovy - At The Golden Horseshoe. The minor inconvenience with the shower didn't really dampen my overall experience.

We loved the look of the room - high ceilings, large windows facing the street. Good view. Nice, big tiled bathroom with separate toilet. Cute kitchenette. Very, very clean. Up high on the hill just under the castle with a great view and a sense of being in the heart of an extraordinary and historic part of Prague. Wonderful vintage ceramic stove in the room - but thankfully now, just for decoration. We didn't need the heating, but they have new slimline radiators that look very efficient. As it was warm, and as I had written that I was concerned about the heat - they were kind enough to give us a tall standing fan. Liked the breakfast - we were there for 10 days and there was some nice variety. The little deli/convenience store across the street is useful. Good internet service. Would stay there again.
I wish there was a way to make coffee rather than just an electric kettle - maybe they are more used to tea-drinkers! Yes, the hotel is up the hill - not too far from a tram stop. Late, after a long day of site- seeing, it was a bit of a push - but I am in much better shape for it! Late in our stay we discovered that you can take a tram to the other side of the castle or to the very top of the hill and walk down or across instead of up! Yes- it can get a little noisy - the street cleaners in the morning, and tipsy tourists late at night - but my urban- raised husband found that part of the charm of the place. The sonic landscape of Prague. Me -- I just wore ear plugs or headphones. So no problem! I wish there was a better light to read by. Maybe 1 more lamp or a taller one by the bed.

Excellent location near many restaurants and coffee shops. Close to popular attractions like the castle and Loretta. Room was spacious and cleaned daily. Helpful and friendly staff, even accommodating our late arrival. We were pleasantly surprised by the proximity of the apartment to the castle. Facilities were great, especially the newly updated bathroom. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Good location and really big room. If you don't mind IKEA furniture (normal, good looking furniture) and you want nice hotel just few steps away from Hradčany (Prague castle), this hotel is the right one for you. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good.
The room was a little bit messy (some kind of little crumbs on the couch). The room have been cleaned every day, but this crumbs remains on the couch. But compared to the pros mentioned above, this was just a small negative.

Location is perfect - just 5 minutes walk from the Hradcany (Prague Castle). Room was very clean and quiet.
Despite the fact that we had a confirmed reservation for three days, the hotel told us that we could stay for only two nights, and would have to move to another hotel for the third night. Apart from the annoyance, the other hotel was not particularly comfortable (no double bed, breakfast not as good, no wireless internet, very poor TV reception).
